How to use temporary email
You need one email from a website, but would rather keep the rest of its mailing list out of your main inbox. Here is how to get that message with OneTimeEmail.com.
Create it, copy it, use it
Create an inbox using the form on our homepage and copy the generated address. Paste it into the website that needs to send you a message. Keep our page open while you finish. Incoming emails appear automatically. If we detect a verification code or confirmation link, we bring it onto the page. You can still open the full message to read the rest.
Come back before it expires
A new inbox expires after one hour without access. In Settings, you can choose an inactivity period from 10 minutes to 30 days. Accessing the inbox restarts the timer. Save the private link or 12-word recovery phrase to open it on another device. You can also save the inbox to a cookie so this browser remembers it. An expired or deleted inbox cannot be recovered.
If the email does not arrive
First, check that you pasted the address correctly and that the sending website accepted it. Some sites refuse temporary addresses. Give the sender time to deliver, then use its resend option if it has one. Keep the inbox open and check for a page error. If the inbox has expired, create a new one and update the address on the sending website. Delete the inbox when you are finished.
